The Labor Party in Australia has won a landslide victory, crushing the conservatives. The outcome was expected to be a hung parliament, but Labor won a solid majority. Conservative leader Peter Dutton, who adopted Trump-style political campaigning, not only lost the election big, but lost his own seat in parliament to a Labor candidate as well.
This follows the stunning reversal of fortunes Trump caused conservatives in Canada (a 27 point swing in a matter of weeks).
