Boeing delays first crewed flight of Starliner May 6, 2024 7:07 pm BuckGalaxy

It was scheduled to launch today but was scrubbed because of a problem in an oxygen relief valve in the Atlas V rocket. May happen tomorrow or Friday.

I’d really like to see competition with Space X for human space flight. Starliner is four years behind Dragon.

Also in the near future is Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser space plane.

and of course Bezo’s Blue Origins is slowly developing both rockets (New Glenn) and spacecraft for humans (Blue Moon).
