Things are heating up in Iran and Iraq, Impeachment slouches ever closer to the Trump Presidency, the US election season is getting ready to start in earnest and trade negotiations with China are on the edge of wetness. What else could go wrong?

The North Koreans have postponed their Christmas/New Year’s gift to America, no doubt waiting for just the right moment.

I suspect everything will come together at once, right around Superbowl Sunday when America will not be paying attention. Let’s just hope no one is considering sending a carrier task group into the South China Sea any time soon.
