Fine the businesses that hire illegals in this country and use that revenue to finance the wall. The problem will take care of itself in no time flat. In fact, when the jobs start drying up and the Mexicans go home, it won’t even be necessary to have a wall in the first place. They’ll self-deport, we won’t need to spend any taxpayer money to round them up and transport them out of the country. But we all know perfectly well that’s not going to happen. These people have not crashed our national party. They were invited here to make the beds, buss the tables, and scrub out the toilets.

This country has been built by the sweat and toil of those we have brought here to do our dirty work. The slaves picked the cotton, the Chinese built the railroads, the eastern and southern Europeans worked in the mills, and now the Latins are doing the work no one else wants to do, or at least, the work no one wants to pay a decent wage to get done. And every single time, we have treated those we brought here to do that work like shit, and tried to get them to leave after we had abused them for our profit. And we have the audacity of telling them they are no longer welcome now that the job is done.

History will remember American Capitalism’s exploitation of foreign workers, and the concomitant rape and impoverishment of its own working class, as the most shameful and brutal of its crimes. We will all pay for this evil, someday, whether we benefited from it or not.
