It looks likely there may be a political motive… maybe more will be learned of the man’s motive as the investigation progresses. I saw one of his facebook pages before it was taken down- he was a Sanders supporter, and you can expect that to be the primary talking point out of this administration and its defenders… after all the innocent blood spilt by the right they will eagerly portray themselves as the oppressed and victimized…
His page was flooded with 100′s of vile postings attacking him and his family when I looked at it with more coming in every few seconds.

The shooter had a history of violence involving gun.
No word on whether Scalise is rethinking his vote to allow mentally ill persons to buy guns… I doubt it- nothing changed when Giffords was shot 6 years ago, why would this be any different…?
Its not known if he had a history of mental illness, but obviously he wasn’t someone that should be allowed to have guns.
The violence – no matter which side engages in it- will only beget more violence… those that use violence in the name of a cause inevitably hurt their own cause… thankfully the only person killed was the shooter.
