The Martian by Andy Weir October 25, 2014 8:00 pm SDG

Just finished The Martian by Andy Weir. What an amazing book. Premise is an astronaut gets left for dead as the rest of his crew makes a hasty escape from Mars. Turns out the guy isn’t dead, and now he has to find a way to survive with whatever was left over until NASA sends a return trip.

I can’t recommend this book enough. The author really did his homework to get as much of the science right as possible. Its a near future book,so consider the tech to be 30 years advanced at most.

It’s also damned humorous.
