OK. I ordered something from Amazon with overnight shipping. I ordered it Thursday morning, the 5th, and was assured it would be delivered Friday afternoon, the 6th. It was shipped FedEx.
No package on the 6th. Stalled in Memphis. Got up this morning and package is in Portland. I call FedEx and ask if it will be delivered today, the 7th. The facility hadn’t opened, call later.
I called later. The lady with whom I spoke said that it would be delivered on the 9th, Monday, before 3:00 PM. My reply was that I expected it yesterday and if not then today.
Nope. Monday afternoon.
But I paid for and you promised Friday, I assumed you would make it as soon after Friday as possible.
Monday afternoon. Go talk to Amazon, your issue is with them, they paid for the shipping.
FedEx is the carrier and this is a carrier problem.
Talk to Amazon. They paid for the shipping.
I paid for the shipping, not Amazon. I paid for the shipping and my problem is with FedEx, you.
Talk to Amazon. Is there anything else we can help you with today?
I’ll say this for you, that’s a great sense of humor. I hung up.
What a chickenshit company.

You don't get Saturday delivery on "overnight" unless you pay extra up front.
-
I think you should get Sat. delivery on "overnight" if due on Friday.
