CCCleaner February 1, 2012 10:23 am RobVG

CCCleaner by Piriform.

Free

Downloaded this because it has a registry cleaner. Also it can do Windows maintenance like disk clean up and defragging and some other stuff.

I read a few reviews, most were positive.

Evidently if you use a browser other then IE, Windows disk cleanup will not empty the temp internet files.

It’s very fast.

It said it deleted 2GB of files. Alot of log files. I find it hard to believe because I use the Windows utility often.

I noticed an increase in speed. Somewhere around 5 to 10%.

  • I have used it for years without any problem. I don't use it that frequently and obviously backup registry before cleaning by FrankC 2012-02-02 12:13:30
