…you have to admit that at least half the senators that took the solemn oath to conduct a fair and impartial trial were lying through their teeth. The actual number may be much higher than that. No, I’m not talking about the guys who are just wrong, or mistaken, or ignorant. I’m talking about the careerist majority who know exactly what is going on and simply don’t care.

No matter how this trial turns out, its not going to inspire a lot of confidence in our legislative branch.
