Or maybe he’s not, but the GOP somehow manages to convince the American people it was a dastardly Liberal conspiracy anyway.

In the ensuing backlash, Kavanaugh is appointed to SCOTUS, as is every subsequent right wing nominee to the Court, the GOP sweeps the mid-terms and the Democrats are totally discredited–forever. In 2020, Trump, or someone like him, wins the Presidential election, with a solid Republican majority in Congress to back him up.

It ain’t over till its over.
