The present (not the xmas kind) December 30, 2016 12:39 am mcfly

If Einstein is right about time–and the past, present and future all exist on the same footing–then why do we perceive ourselves as living in an infinitesimal sliver of time that we call the present?

If relativity is correct, why do we feel that the present is “real” and immediate, while the past is “behind us” and the future unwritten?
