How does Arctic sea ice loss compare to Antarctic sea ice gain? March 6, 2015 2:11 pm ER

AGW denialists often claim that growth in Antarctic sea ice extent more than makes up for losses in the North Polar Seas (after years of insisting there were no losses in the North at all!). Although Antarctic sea ice has indeed been trending up somewhat in area in Antarctic summer, it by no means “makes up” for losses in the summer Arctic.
