OK, this time it's advice on phones. October 5, 2014 9:23 pm bowser

My Motorola what’sit is screwing up.  Never did get along with Straight Talk.  I want another phone, a friend who is fairly knowledgeable suggested a used Nexus 4.  Then he suggested a new Moto G, as being under warranty and having support.

The more I looked at either of these, the more enamored I became.  I want to keep Straight Talk, because at $46 or so per month I can have unlimited everything, and for very little more call my friend in England.

So the phone, not the plan, is the issue.  My friend says that both the phones currently being considered are Android and Google automatically updates them.  The cost is similar.  The difference is the support offered by the new phone.

Any thoughts.  I know a bunch of you know more than I, and I’m sure would have valuable suggestions.  Thanks in advance.
