My blood just boils when I think of the people who died in Vietnam, Iraq, in Afghanistan, and the actions of the US today.  When I remember my camaraderie with Kerry when he opposed the Vietnam war and watch him beating the drums of war today I feel sick.  Nauseus.

The only good news is that the young people who will die are too young and dumb to know how they are being abused.

The “Christian” churches are delighted with the new Crusade.  They will claim that illegal immigrants are economic fugitives.  They have come here to take jobs.  By their reasoning bank robbery should be legal.  The economic fugitives should have unfettered access to money, after all.

But if we can kill, maim, and/or rape an infidel, that’s great.

I’ve lost all respect for the American public.  Gullible, stupid cretins who have squandered their privileged existence isolated from true trouble, thinking it was their industry, brains, economic system which protected them rather than simple good fortune and luck.  Never bombed, never invaded.  Any number of people with the same advantages would have done better – the Japanese, the Vietnamese, hell, the Israelis are brutal and cruel enough to have outdone Hitler had they had access to the advantages of the US.  (Google “USS Liberty” and then tell me how great the Israelis are.)

There’s so much to make you proud.  Our healthcare system.  Wonderful.  And we can make cars which are almost as good as the Japanese, Germans, British, Swedish.  We were first to the Moon.  Now we don’t have out own way to the ISS that we have had to hock.  Think of that.  We do not have a way to transport people to the ISS, which we will have to abandon anyway.  God, it just makes me proud.  But we are generous.  GWB made available $1 billion in loans to African countries for AIDS drugs.  Had to be spent on American drugs, at full retail prices.  And was to be loaned.

We proudly honor the George Bushes, the Dick Cheney’s, Condi Rices, the Donald Rumsfelds for lying to us, for squandering our treasure, for getting tens of thousands of us killed.  You can’t respect a people who will tolerate war criminals, and encourage crimes against humanity.  Who legalize that which is illegal, torture, or hold people forever in confinement and not ever let them see a lawyer, their families or a judge.  That takes such a lack of decent human values.  And we pay them.  You cannot respect a nation which does that!  Dogs, cats, goldfish, parrots don’t do that.  Americans do, and do it over and over and over.

And I watched the Marine Corp Band play several marches the other night, including “The Washington Post March”.  And I would have charged any hill, any position, any machine gun while that was playing.  What do they do to our kids that can have such a powerful and lasting effect?  I’m ashamed of me.
