A couple of promising scifi series... June 23, 2014 9:40 pm FrankC

“Dominion” on the SyFy channel looks like it will be outstanding compared to anything they have done since killing the Stargate franchise. It is a continuation of the movie of the same name. Premise: God disappeared and Gabriel declared war on humanity for dominion over Earth. He has a lot of angels on his side and we have the Archangel Michael and a new Messiah. The story begins with the war at a stalemate with each side holed up in their respective strongholds.

No really, it looks to be quite good, give it a shot.

“The Last Ship” on TNT is a worldwide pandemic premise with all hope residing on a very attractive scientist aboard a US Navy Destroyer while the world goes to hell. It is a first class production with a good cast and lots of action.
