A Perseid August 13, 2013 1:50 pm SteveS

Managed to get 1 decent meteor this morning as it was a depressing show compared to Monday mornings show, but I didn’t get the camera out Monday. I saw more meteors in the 30 minutes (5 – 5:30) on Monday morning than the 2 1/2 hours (3 – 5:30) Tuesday morning. A lot of bright green meteors hauling through the sky Monday, but mostly short burst this morning. I went with a 12 second exposure to bring out the stars and mainly for Pleiades.

EOS 40D 24mm, ISO 1250, F3.5, 12 seconds.
Photo enlarged and darkened.
