Firearm safety instructor shoots student August 13, 2013 11:20 am alcaray

How does this happen?

You know, in this discussion we’ve had in this country, if one of the anti’s said that owning a gun decreases your safety, then they called a shitstorm upon themselves.  But doesn’t this story mean that nobody can be safe, while handling the things?   Where I’m going with this: isn’t it time we’ve moved from saying that guns are perfectly safe, to saying that guns are freeking dangerous to have but the benefits might outweigh the costs?  From saying that if you want one you should get one, to saying that you should seriously think about whether you want one or not?
