Inside the Dick Armey, FreedomWorks split December 5, 2012 10:12 am ER

“Armey received an $8 million buyout to step down as chairman.”

Eight megabucks, to just go away? Now THAT’s what I call a golden parachute.

It’s a long read, but worth the effort. Its a chilling insight into how the right-wing ideological leadership class operates. These people are middlemen, even in the world of politics and agitprop, its all about how to turn a buck while producing absolutely nothing of any real value. There is no principle there, just new and novel ways of generating money by selling the rubes snake oil, and each other a piece of the action.

They’re worse than a nation of shopkeepers. At least retail merchandising plays a useful role in the distribution system. These people are worthless drones, parasites, vampires. They actually see themselves as entrepreneurs and have the audacity to identify themselves with the

founding fathers.

These people want to take over my country.
