OK I'm proposing a thought for you to chew on... October 24, 2012 11:06 pm BuckGalaxy

Mitt Romney completely abandoned Benghazi in the second debate.   It’s clear  it’s an issue still gripping the insane right, just look at Tech’s rants over on Flame, but essentially Romney has chosen to not make it a political issue.  It can’t just be because he was so humiliated by that awful Candy lady?  Not even I believe that.  I thought he would attack hard on Libya at the debate, but he didn’t.

Why do you think that is?

My theory is, just weeks away from the election, he received briefings on Benghazi and learned whatever it is that really happened and how we are currently responding, and he shut the fuck up about it.

Issa already blew the CIA’s cover there, as well as the names of Libyans working on our behalf.   Romney doesn’t want to do the same, and realizes if he wins he’s going to have to deal with what will likely be a prolonged operation against this new network in North Africa.
