Do cats cause cat ladies? July 3, 2012 8:19 am TB

I read -this article- on toxoplasmosis, and wondered if nutty cat ladies might actually be caused by the cats.

I’ve seen cases in nature where a parasite changes the behavior of the host to the parasite’s favor. What if cats are slowly evolving a similar mechanism that makes people want to take care of many cats?
