“Easy fill tire alert system”

The tire pressure monitoring system was bad enough. Checking your tires by eye every day could alert you to other problems like damaged tires or lights or things like antifreeze and oil leaks. And a driver should be able to “feel” when a tire is low when driving.

These asinine “innovations” remove the driver from the cognitive driving experience and degrade driving ability.

Today cars put on the brakes when you might back into something. They warn you if someone is in your blind spot- might as well get rid of the mirrors all together. They won’t let you lock up your brakes so there is no need to pump them on the snow. They even f*cking parallel park for you.

I guess this frees everyone up from the distraction of driving and allows for more time on the smart phone.
