You see, that $47 billion number wasn’t supposed to get out. I found it on the alternative media, and eventually, so did everyone else. Notice how, when finally confronted with it, the Democrats couldn’t refute it.

You were supposed to believe that this millionaire tax would fix our deficits. That’s exactly how they were selling it, if you look back at the original speeches back in 2011.

“The measure would raise an estimated $47 billion over 10 years, a drop in the bucket of government spending and debt, but Obama has made the case that it could be enough to spare some popular government programs—including financial aid for college students, scientific research and infrastructure development—that promote economic growth.”

Like every government nickel goes to those good and wonderful things, right?

Yeah. Run that tax for about 110 years, and you’d make up for what the government blew just on the Solyndra fiasco alone.

I’m seeing Obama in speeches. I think he’s beginning to lose it. His cherished progressive beliefs are not matching up well with the real world, and his response is to double down on the leftist fantasies, to plow ahead regardless like a headless dinosaur plunging through the swamp powered only by his assbrain. The progression is a familiar one.
