America has always had a problem with ‘law enforcement’ And ICE is the only the latest step in the accelerating decline in standards…

It also does not help that we have literally given the police military equipment, so now they can overreact with insanely disproportionate force. The police unions have the power to quash any concerns about their violations of civil liberties, the constitution, or basic human rights. The selection process and training they get is a goddamn joke compared to more civilized countries.

When an incident happens that is so extreme and they are finally forced to take action against one of their own, the first phrase they usually say is ” These are just a few ‘bad apples’ and we solved the problem by removing them.” …the problem is they are too stupid to understand the ‘bad apples ‘ metaphor… the full quote is “a few bad apples spoil the bunch”… meaning if you have a few ‘bad apples’ in a barrel then it means you have a much bigger problem …

If you have an organization where ‘bad apples ‘ are allowed to join, where they are not weeded out, where their atrocities are tolerated and rewarded as long as they don’t create a PR problem (which translates to making sure that you only abuse the powerless and those that can’t fight back… the poor, minorities, and now those that don’t have politics aligned with this fascist administration).

I understand the need for a law enforcement organization, I can even understand that some good people might want to take the job to protect others and help victims… but that is NOT what we have here in the USA. We have an employment program for the high-school bullies that were unqualified for anything else. We have an organization that selects for lower intelligence, and has a ruling from the judicial branch that says its perfectly fine for them to exclude intelligent people from working in the profession:

We have law enforcement by people too stupid to understand the law, we have a culture of silence that ensures the rare ‘good apples ‘ are brutally silenced if they speak up. And now we have an administration that is grooming them and rewarding their worst impulses so they will enforce the atrocities this administration is committing, and the FAR worse atrocities they have planned.

So now we have a mob of masked marauding mercenary murderers murdering moms in mini-vans in Minneapolis Minnesota…

If you think this is as bad as it will get, then you are delusional. No matter your politics, I want you to think back to the person you were 10 years ago… wouldn’t that person be horrified by what we have now? A president defending murder, accepting bribes in public, siding with dictatorships while threatening NATO allies?

Yet here we are… just imagine what you might accept as ‘normal’ in 3 years.

Even if Trump is impeached after the midterm elections, do you think it will change anything? Do you think he will allow himself to be removed from office…? How will you remove him? You and what army…? His army… run by his ass-kissing DUI hire Hegseth? What enforcement remains uncorrupted to enforce impeachment, or even a lost election?

The naive fools claiming the falling poll numbers for the Republicans and this president mean that he will be removed are dangerously foolish. THERE IS A REASON that this administration no longer really cares about the popularity of it’s actions… it is because it is making sure elections no longer matter.

This administration doesn’t care about the future of the country, it has irreversible gutted our research and development and handed the future, the moon, and technical advancement to the Chinese… Trump doesn’t care about any future, he simply wants complete power and the impunity to punish, destroy, and even kill those that refuse to love and/or fear him.

NASA is gutted and destroyed – it will simply be an organization handing out contracts to billionaires that are in Trump’s good graces that particular day… our other research institutions have been similarly gutted… and of course climate research has been eliminated because its becoming clear that billions will need to die to ensure a few billionaires become trillionares.

The coming apocalypse won’t impact Trump directly, so it simply doesn’t matter.

All the above are simply facts… there is no good news or alternative futures for the US and the world unless the American people get a backbone… but most of us seem more concerned with watching ‘reality’ TV SHOWS like the one that gave birth to the atrocity that is Trump.

And before citizens of other countries dismiss the USA as an outlier, and think ‘well, its just the crazy ignorance of the American people that has led to this sad outcome for the USA’, you need to think again… it is a disease and it is spreading… I have been overseas and see other democracies have caught the virus, they may be 10-15 years behind us in the symptoms, but they have the disease as well… watch SKY news in Australia, effectively their version of FOX ‘news’… I saw the same thinly veiled racism and fascist talking points there… fascism is being marketed, repackaged and populations are being groomed to find it more palatable..

With the USA and Putin pushing our infection into other countries, it will take them far less time to get to the same stage 4 cancer… I guess this post has become a little dark… sorry.

I wish there was a path to a better future, but I don’t know what it is. The barbarians have broken down the gates, and the few decent people in power that are recognizing the problem are obsessed with playing nice and pandering to the polls.

And since this is a long post, the SHORT VERSION is: we are fucked- things will get worse before they get far FAR worse… In a matter of decades billions will be dead, and if civilization survives, its benefits will be only for the select few billionaires that are NOW stealing the world’s remaining resources at an exponentially accellerating rate.

Rest assured though, the meth-addled MAGAs, and all the little fan boys that worship Elon Musk are just as fucked as the rest of us.

So we have that to console ourselves with, I guess…

I am tempted to give Brosz a call to hear how he justified all the 1000′s of hours he spent selling bullshit that would slit the throats of his grandchildren…

I am pretty sure he doesn’t care, though I suspect that he does resent his decades of schilling for the billionaires never actually paid off for him… I am sure he believes that is the fault of the socialists, as he re-reads ‘Atlas Shrugged’ for the 150th time… and wonders why his kids avoid him….
