Trump successfully rehabilitated Putin on the international stage with the massive red carpet treatment to the murderous dictator who has been a pariah in the West since his invasion of Ukraine. Trump gave up his pre-summit demand for a ceasefire and adopted the Ruskie position that peace moves focus on a final peace deal, which could take years. This allows Putin more time to grind down Ukraine. The orange weakling also backed down on sanctions against Russia. He basically agreed that Russia gets to have all of the Donbas region, and he got NOTHING in return from Putin.
