I’m almost at the end of Christopher Ruocchio’s Empire of Silence, Book One of his Sun Eater series. The storyline has hooked me in and I’m definitely going to read the entire series (currently six books with a seventh released later this year). Placed in a time many thousands of years in the future where humans have spread throughout the galaxy, technology has vastly advanced, but society has regressed to something akin to the Middle Ages. It’s very well written and I read several chapters every night when I go to bed.
