YO, Pod December 27, 2023 7:58 pm ER

I watched a NOVA on PBS today about the dinosaurs of the North Slope of Alaska. They were wondering how they could survive in that cold climate, since they had evidence they lived there year round. They believe they had hair or feathers, and were warm blooded, but there was little sunlight in winter to provide vegetation.

But how do we know Alaska was cold in the Back Time? Maybe, due to continental drift, Alaska was closer to the equator. Or maybe the whole world was colder. You’ve got some Podsplaining to do.
