When I lived in Silly Valley (back in the mid to late 1980s), there used to be a motel just outside the fence of Moffett Field (Nasa/Ames in Mountain View, California) called the “Lucky U”. Its probably no longer there, but we used to get a kick out of it every time we drove past it. No doubt the servicemen at the base there relied on it whenever they needed to get serviced.
