The Limehouse Golem March 8, 2024 9:07 pm ER

Just saw a really great movie, “The Limehouse Golem”. The title is a bit weird, but it makes sense in the context of the film. Its not SF or supernatural horror, its a detective mystery/psychological thriller set in Victorian England. The film is beautifully written, acted and photographed, and is a trippy tour of the music hall scene in 1880s London. The world-building is really intense. The only actor I recognized was Bill Nighy–not exactly a household name, but I’m a fan.

Highly recommended.
