Remember way back months ago I asked you if you supported vote by mail, and you said yes? I made a point of getting you on the record then because I could see clearly that we were heading to this exact situation… how do you feel about mailed in ballots now, Rob? Because there is only one side working to nullify as many of them as possible, and that’s the side you chose to stand with….

You say you are against the armed voter intimidation tactics, bot only your side is engaged in that, your candidate is the only one encouraging it.

Now, Trump is saying that votes counted after election day are not legal- you and the ‘patriotic’ gun owners are not offering a bit of protest, instead they are flocking to cheer him on – without masks- at his covid super-spreader rallies.

You and the other ‘patriots’ are only too happy to lick the boots of any strongman that reassures you that its ok to be the selfish bigoted assholes you know you are. You are chickenshit chickenhawks that want to blame others for your failures- mexicans, the liberal elite, the ‘lazy’ poor – THEY are the reason you failed.

I really AM flattered that you think little ol’ me drove away all the right wingers- if that were true I would genuinely be honored to hold the title of ‘Destroyer of Deplorables’, but I know the truth- about you and your fellow fascists. The truth is the ‘conservatives’ quickly realized that Trump would put them in an impossible position. They were used to getting talking points and excuses from a well organized machine, with some consistency. They realized that Trump would do the inexcusable, issue a defense that was a transparent lie, and then when that lie was exposed (usually within a day, by Trump himself) Trump would do something even more inexcusable as a distraction.

Your fellow fools were smart enough to understand that in order to stay here they would have to either pretend that they were stupid enough to honestly believe the lies, or just admit that the lies were not a problem for them, and they never really believed the conservative positions they had held for so long on here.

They would have to say they were ok with the insults to the veterans and war dead. They would have to say that those they hailed as patriots before were actually now evil members of the deep state. They would have to be ok with parroting the talking points fed to them in defense of Trump, only to have them undercut within hours by Trump himself.

They were at least smart enough to realize that – you, well… you were not.

They still check in, and some of them will even read this little exchange, but they don’t dare post… not out any fear of me. They simply know that what they have become – what they have done- what they have supported in their names cannot be excused or justified. They had to admit all they claimed to stand for was a sham when they threw their support to Trump.

I certainly do not mean to suggest they regret it- they don’t, they understand that what is being done is treason, un-american, and unjustifiable… they just don’t care. Some even realize that it is destroying the future for their grandchildren, they just feel that outraging the smug liberals is worth it.

Sure, it is irrational- but what about electing a reality show con-man is rational?

Is that a fine enough brush for you, Rob? I could make it much finer, of course, I could paint in the fine filigree details of the motivations for the various individuals in question- but it would make no real difference. Suffice it to say that their motivating factors- and yours as well- for supporting this betrayal of america and the 100′s of thousands of deaths that have resulted CAN be painted with a broad brush. They are failures, they have failed to achieve what they felt they should have in life, and they needed an excuse- permission to blame others, and- most importantly- they needed to see others suffer for it. And they are getting that need satisfied beyond their wildest expectations!

Trump gave you, and 10′s of millions of your fellow junkies, that fix. And the rush that it gives you is something you will gladly kill to keep. Millions may die, but as long as you can blame others for what you did to yourselves, you will be just fine.

The poster personae of the conservatives here was always an act- they only put on the act of being ‘patriots’ because patriotism was a crude but heavy club to wield against those that disagreed with them. They only put on a pretense of having rational reasoned positions, because they knew that exposing their actual bigoted beliefs would get them quickly ostracized here.

So they presented a passable forgery here… but once Trump won they felt they could go elsewhere and bare their true selves in public forums without fear… their racist hate was ‘in’ again at long last- they could ‘say what they really thought’ without fear- since the president was making it acceptable again….

Just look at FrankC, he put on an act here just like the rest of them- but now, well now he is openly a white nationalist…

They were not exiled from this place, Rob- they simply came to believe that they could go elsewhere and be their true, ugly, bigoted selves… without repercussions.

We will see about that, I guess- the memory of the internet is long. If Trump loses I wonder how long they will be comfortable with their children and grandchildren being able to look up what vile things they were happy to espouse in the madness of the Trump years.

I suspect there will be much awkwardness at family get-togethers for decades to come.

A Michigan judge has blocked a ban on openly carrying firearms at Michigan polling places on Election Day.

Court of Claims Judge Christopher Murray granted a preliminary injunction to pro-gun groups who filed motions to block the directive issued by Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson on Oct. 16.

Benson sought to prohibit firearms at polling places, clerk’s offices and other locations where absentee ballots will be tallied. Her order also barred individuals openly carrying guns from coming within 100 feet of buildings serving as polling centers.
