The DOW blew past another milestone today. The President is being threatened with impeachment and the country appears to be heading for a constitutional crisis, the nation is politically and culturally divided as it has never been before, but regardless of how one might feel about those issues, it doesn’t seem to be bothering the ownership
class or the nation’s investors. Neither the people that run things, (the economic leadership), and the largest and most influential demographic (the consumer) seem to have noticed. Oh, and by the way, we seem to be threatened with imminent climate catastrophe. Isn’t anybody paying attention?
