President Donald Trump reportedly instructed his acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, to delay more than $390 million in military aid to Ukraine. According to The Washington Post, Trump’s demand was made at least a week before his July 25 phone call with the Ukrainian president in which Trump allegedly urged Volodymyr Zelensky to dig up dirt on his potential election rival Joe Biden.

The call was reportedly part of a whistleblower complaint concerning Trump that was filed by someone working in U.S. intelligence. Joseph Maguire, the acting director of national intelligence, has refused to turn the complaint over to congressional oversight committees despite facing pressure from Democrats to do so.

Since I started taking elections seriously, I don’t recall ever not voting a president into his second term … except for Clinton. It takes more than a single term to see new policies through. As it is now, I did not vote him in, but I will definitely see about voting him out.

Its only a short step from stacking the courts and bending the law to simply ignoring them altogether. Remember, he has two powerful groups on his side, people with guns, and people with money.

Trump ousted from the White House in the coming election might be fun to watch. In fact, on this board, it might become downright hilarious.

Anyone with a functional brain could see that Trump was the LAST person that should be given power…

HOW could his supporters have been so blind? HOW can they continue to support these crimes? Haven’t they learned by now that he will continue to drag them further into the sewers?

They genuinely don’t care, they have gone all in, they sacrificed all they claimed to stand for at this last shot for power. If they turn back now, they have to admit they were the hypocritical, amoral fools we always knew they were.

They will happily kill to avoid that… I think it will likely get very bloody before they go down. And if they ‘win’ it will be bloodier still…

This is not about improving their lives for them, this is about destroying the lives of others. THAT is their only agenda now… making others PAY.

Their world view owes much more to hatred of their enemies than it does to any particular philosophy of their own. This is why even if you happen to agree with them on something they feel the need to change their mind and contradict you. Obama proved that any policy previously favored (or even originated) by Conservatives would never get GOP approval if proposed by a Progressive. Remember how they contorted themselves mentally to show how Obamacare was REALLY not the same as Romneycare?

Its a zero-sum gamester mentality at work. They define “success” not as gaining somethiong, but as taking something away from someone else.
