I have no desire to see President Trump suffer. He is a sick man, and probably not responsible for his actions. But his followers don't have that excuse. Their failure to control him, and the way they have supported his outrages and shortcomings is beneath contempt. They have no excuse, they deserve no sympathy. They have been guided strictly by greed, anger, hate and ignorance. Any country can get unlucky and be stuck with an unstable or even dangerous leader. But I am ashamed my country has been able to produce so many eager collaborators with his evil, for so long. I hope they enjoy their tax cut--before the bill comes due.
