Hours after a mass shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh that killed at least 11 people, President Donald Trump gave a political speech at the Future Farmers of America Convention. During the speech, Trump, unprompted, discussed how his hair was ruined earlier in the day when he had to stand outside in the rain by Air Force One answering questions about the shooting.

“By the way, somebody just said your hair looks different today,” Trump said in Indianapolis.

“I was standing under the wing of Air Force One doing a news conference earlier this morning, a very unfortunate news conference, and the wind was blowing and the rain and I was soaking wet and that’s what I ended up with today,” he added.

Trump, whose hair has long been the subject of much mocking and questioning, continued: “And I said but at least you know it’s mine.”

As the crowd laughed, Trump said that he mentioned the possibility that he should “cancel this “arrangement because I have a bad hair day.”

“The bad news,” he added, was, “somebody said, ‘actually it looks better than it usually does.’”

Yeah… that was the bad news of the day…

1) Trump suggested George Soros was behind the migrant caravan that is 1000 miles from our border but is somehow a national security crisis….

In one post, Bowers claimed Jews were helping transport members of the migrant caravans. He believed that those in the migrant caravans were violent because they were attempting to leave countries that had high levels of violence. And Bowers repeatedly called them “invaders.”
“I have noticed a change in people saying ‘illegals’ that now say ‘invaders’,” read one post, six days before the shooting. “I like this.”

2) Trump has been calling himself a “nationalist” and lauding it as a good thing- no one is missing this dog whistle- especially not the white nationalists. He has also been decrying the evil ‘globalists’… code for wealthy Jews in the neo-nazi movement.
Robert Bowers knew those codewords well, he just wasn’t convinced that Trump was extreme enough to suit him…

The fact is that Trump has been trying to appeal to people like Bowers- the fact that he has succeeded in motivating the vast majority of white nationalists but failed to win over this one in particular in no way mitigates his guilt and responsibility.

3) Anti-Semitic incidents had been dropping prior to Trumps election- afterwards they have surged- this isn’t an accident.

A suspect is in custody after surrendering – with law enforcement sources saying that he was armed with an AR-15 style rifle.

President Donald Trump called the shooting a “terrible” situation and that it might “have been different” if the synagogue had armed guards as they “didn’t have any protection”. He called for stricter death penalty laws for “crimes like this”.

A Pennsylvania state senator seeking next year’s Republican nomination for governor says he doesn’t plan to apologize for calling billionaire Democratic donor George Soros “a Hungarian Jew” with “a hatred for America.”

Sen. Scott Wagner told the York Daily Record on Monday that “everybody’s getting their knickers around their ankles over this and there’s no reason for that.”

Wagner’s comments were recorded by an opposition tracker at a tomato festival in Pittston last week.

He says if Soros was Catholic, he’d have called him a Hungarian Catholic, and meant no offense by it. He says his comments weren’t meant to be disrespectful or racist.

On Monday, the state Democratic Party described Wagner’s comments as anti-Semitic.

A shooting spree allegedly carried out by a white suspect who took the lives of two black people at a Kroger store in Kentucky is being investigated as a possible hate crime, federal prosecutors said Friday.

NBC affiliate WAVE first reported late Wednesday that the gunman came upon an armed white bystander outside the store but asked him not to shoot because “whites don’t kill whites.” The man was later identified as Ed Harrell by the Louisville Courier-Journal and has spoken to the FBI about his interaction with the suspect.

Rogers also said Bush initially attempted to enter the First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown, a predominantly black church, 10 to 15 minutes before the shooting but was “unsuccessful.” He said he could not confirm whether the man was armed at the church.
