<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6tyoKg9wL1g?rel=0" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The Russian PAO commentator starts talking about a booster emergency at 3:00. All that's visible is the usual small dot of a rocket at high altitude. The NASA commentator seems not to notice anything's wrong. Then they switch to an animation showing everything normal--obviously it's projected flight data. The entire story is told by the Russian PAO talker as she translates space-to-ground conversation in real time.

Earlier, they showed video from a cockpit camera in the Soyuz. They didn't switch to it after the emergency, but I'll bet it exists somewhere. Should be a wild ride when finally released.

perhaps with your space connections, you may have more information...

that there have been some disturbing "quality control" issues arising lately with the Russian spacecraft. There was a mention of a "hole" being discovered in one of the ships docked at the ISS, but not much more in the way of details.

By itself, this incident means nothing, but if it is part of a trend, then there is plenty to worry about. The new US supply ships are coming on line, but even if they are completely successful, it will be several years before all the bugs are sorted out.
