Judge Kavanaugh not only pitched a partisan and ridiculous conspiracy theory laden outburst at yesterday’s hearing, he also treated his questioners with contempt, not answering questions, turning their own questions back at them, and doing his best to run out the clock on his questioners by demanding to ramble on inanely during THEIR five minutes, changing the subject and whining about how he had been so abuuuuuuused. Compared to Dr Ford’s presentation, his own remarks were hysterical, over-emotional and petulant. His rage under the circumstances is not unexpected, perhaps even justified, but he is certainly not as sober as a judge. His behavior was, well, almost stereotypically feminine.

And of course, he went on FOX to plead his case, not exactly a politically neutral or professionally respected forum. Regardless of his guilt or innocence in this sexual violence issue, the man is not temperamentally or ideologically stable enough to be a judge. He will become a SCOTUS jurist with a chip on his shoulder as well as one who holds grudges. He will have an axe to grind, not just against Liberal arguments and petitioners, but on anyone who he even perceives as Liberal, whether he is or not.

He’s going to make Justice Thomas look like King Solomon.
