People have died for his stupidity, and its very likely MANY more will suffer and die before this is over… so Rob getting his feelings hurt by me pointing out that he chose this atrocity doesn’t really rate high on my list of concerns.
He chose the side of fascism, and anyone that does that should live with the consequences for the rest of their lives.

The right was always quick to accuse those that simply disagreed with them with treason, of hating america… well now they have actively defended the subverting of our democracy- I see no reason to offer them any more slack than is required for them to hang themselves.

The damage cretins like Rob have done to our nation, AND OUR WORLD, is beyond comprehension- If I simply remind him of it, it isn’t harsh- it is far less than he deserves.

Maybe, if these bastards become objects of derision and contempt, the next generation- if there is one- will be more thoughtful about the dangers of supporting fascism.

I think there are a lot of Trumpers out there who are not going to be persuaded by our attacks on their philosophy, but will be sternly educated by the total betrayal of Conservative principles carried out by the White House and its allies.

I think RobVg is doing just fine. I don’t expect him to become an Obama/Hillary man overnight, but I believe I can see he is no longer being taken in by the more extreme loonies in his party. We can afford to hear him out.

An honest Conservative willing to call out his own side when they go too far is worth to the national conversation more than another mustachioed bomb-throwing mirror image fanatic on the Left. There’s a lot of gun owners and fanciers out there who have the NRA’s number, and want no part of their poison. Like me. Lets welcome them.

Besides, I’m already thinking about what happens if our side wins. Are we going to swing too far the other way and simply substitute our partisan madness for theirs?
