I'm not sure Limbaugh believes that himself, but he knows his followers believe it. That's why he has to repeat it. Faith in the impossible or the absurd is, at best, ignorance, at worst, simple-mindedness; regrettable, but it can be forgiven. But to propagate lies when you know they are lies is truly malignant.
