It is a cliche of a defense mechanism and only reinforces your deeply damaging delusions. You seriously need to take their advice and see a doctor- you can't continue in this self destructive cycle for much longer. At some point you need to realize your disease is the cause of your failures and crises. You need to get over your aversion to medication and accept that you desperately need it. These delusions of grandeur that manifest in your so-called personality are nothing more than your coping mechanism for dealing with your very deep inadequacy- on so many levels- your inability to achieve what you felt you should have by now.
