As recent investigations have born out, numerous members of the Trump administration have had extensive business dealings with Russian companies run by oligarchs connected to Russian President V. Putin. It should be pointed out that these relationships are not necessarily illegal. However, not reporting these connections to American authorities is. Russia is run by a loose consortium of large industrial and financial institutions which report to Mr Putin, who is now one of the richest men in the world as a result.

These business relationships were threatened when the Obama/Clinton regime imposed sanctions on Russian companies and oligarchs in response to that nation’s military moves in the Ukraine. It should be noted that the pro-Russian Ukrainian government (one in which key Trump campaign officials were “legitimately” involved) was ousted and replaced by a pro-Western administration, all masterminded by the Clinton State Department in the Obama Presidency. During the campaign for the GOP nomination, Trump officials lobbied vigorously to remove anti-Russian planks from the Republican party platform which were viewed as anathema by the Putin government. And of course, concerns about climate change in the West also were a direct threat to the emerging US-Russian fossil fuel partnership and its proposed Arctic exploration and exploitation program.

The American Administration has been compromised by many of its key members having business connections with key members of the Russian administration. Not only does this give the Russians the opportunity to blackmail American politicians and businessmen (is there any difference any more?), it essentially brings them all together as a class of individuals and institutions mutually dependent on each other to siphon public funds into private fortunes and launder the profits in a tangled web of criminal banking organizations. The Russian business Mafia is merging with the American one.
Up to now, it has been a peaceful takeover…

The Russian press has been effectively muzzled and discredited so it cannot report on these activities. The American press is now under attack and threatened with the same fate, for the same reason.
