...presence of Bikini Atoll in photos taken during the inevitable overflights to verify the story by high-altitude Reich supersonic spy planes. Or lack of any corroboration whatsoever from any Reich intelligence service.

Yeah, I had to avoid looking at that one too closely. Seemed too thin a deception for holding off a nuclear war.

But ya know, the film wasn't the thing that actually brought down Heusman, it was the dossier Smith brought with him and presented to the Reichsmarshall. So maybe the deception with the film only had to last long enough to get Smith access to the general? After that, given how close they came to nuclear war, no doubt everybody involved would just rather forget about the whole thing, film included. Maybe.

WHY - in a world where you cant swing a cat without hitting a newsreel depicting a different reality- would the powers that be in Reich unquestioningly assume the H-Bomb test newsreel represented what the Japanese were capable of in their reality?

Hitler dead. Joe's Dad the new Fuhrer. Trade Minister Tagomi on walkabout, upon return discovers assistant is from our world. This seems to clarify that there are only two universes, not a multiverse situation. Resistance blows up the Kempetai building. Chief Inspector Kito survives. Frank Frink doesn't (apparently). Two adam's apples take a bus out of town.

World War III is about to begin.

They seem to have picked up the pace a bit.

I'm almost afraid to watch episode 10.

I just scrolled ahead to count 20 episodes. Didn't dig into the contents. Damn.

They'd better get their asses in gear, then.

I noticed it today watching episode four after I posted; after it was over, I remember thinking that not a lot actually happened. I think maybe the luxury of twenty episodes has something to do with the pacing. We'll see...

Feeling a little disappointed, it sort of feels like they are killing time... dragging it out so they can wrap things up in season 3.
