Yep, this story pushes all the right buttons, pulls all the right strings, and rings all the right bells.

But its not about rape, or Muslims, or immigration policy or national security. Its about getting the Redneck Right scared and self-righteously indignant so they can be counted on to insist on a reactionary domestic economic agenda that works against their own interests, one that essentially reduces to lowering taxes on the wealthy and corporations, eliminating the safety net, dismantling the New Deal, removing all restraints on polluting the environment, workplace and product safety regulation, the emasculation of all worker bargaining rights and perpetuating and expanding the ever-widening income gap.

Its all about profits, follow the money.
