Cruz has made a career of misrepresenting evidence, circumstances, statements, and people.

I know that Cruz is a top-line political lawyer who will add some much-needed intellectual ammunition to the Senate. I know that this primary contest was watched by a lot of people who are gauging the power of the grass roots conservative movement versus the Republican establishment, much the same way as the Wisconsin elections were watched as a gauge of union power versus rational government.

As for your question, intelligent discourse and analysis requires a bit more than “similar background and experience.” Note the above and think about it.

Without getting bogged down in who is “right” or “wrong”, can you explain that? That is the key, Tom, that is what really matters. Why should that be? If you can answer that, even metaphorically, you would be almost there.

Answering that question is precisely why you need to be here.
