This is an Einsteinian 'curved spacetime' moment. Our understanding of the universe is about to be blown wide open and we are on the brink of a new era." At first blush this sounds a tiny bit like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heim_theory" rel="nofollow">Heim Theory</a>. But,...it has to be coincidence, since Heim was attempting to “quantize” space-time. (In pursuit of the “Theory of Everything”) The Amplituhedron theory completely sh_t cans space-time, from the get-go. If this idea is verified by further work from others, (and results in a complimentary quantum gravity theory)...wow. Then, traveling to any place we perceive as being a location in a 3D spacetime universe, might not require traveling at all. (or any time) Even if it's proven in my lifetime, I'm going to stick with my delusion of 3D spacetime reality. I'll be a hologram denialist. “Everyone should read this article. For a guy like me, the comments often tell me more than the actual paper. At the end I am never quite certain whether this (and other such revelations) are going to change my world or just spark another 30-40 years of research. In nearly all cases it is the latter.
