When I start threads, I try to do it through my user page, my pseudo blog. (http://habitablezone.com/author/podrock/) and I choose the board(s) I want it to appear on.

As far as I can tell, this is what the spammers do, but they don’t pick a board to put it on.

I used to use the dashboard to see what was new, now I’m trying to only use the dashboard to do admin stuff, like trashing spam, moderating users, and posting when the mains are down.

PS to Robert. I’d like to see if anyone new is registering. The users panel doesn’t show me when they signed up. I see that you are notified via e-mail when there are new members. That field implies it can only send to one e-mail addy. Can mine be added to that field? Or can this data be included in the user panel?

Hard drive was full once again. This time I couldn’t find anything to clean, so I took down the server and increased the size of the hard drive. This should give us a few months’ breathing room.
