I’m becoming quite fond of Matt Smith, but still like Tennant, Pertwee and Baker.
In the end we watched Raiders and Phantom Menace, mixed in with some Lego LOTR on the Wii and some good old fashioned reading.
Yesterday’s leftover Chinese food made it the most relaxing Christmas ever.
And I had a whole Christmas pudding to myself so it wasn’t tooooo bad a day

He did that with Angel, too, when that series was canceled before he was done with the story. He's also got a whole Buffy group, plus others. He's published those stories through Dark Horse Comics. There are two Serenity collections that I know of, Those Left Behind, Better Days and Other Stories, plus a stand-alone graphic novel, The Shepherd's Tale, which fills out the backstory of Shepherd Book.

Everybody showed up but Ron Glass, who has some issues I understand.

They also had a mini marathon of some of the best episodes, with a lot of sub-titled info on the series.

You probably have the special feature stuff on the dvd’s I believe you mentioned buying.

Amazing series and I am puzzled that it has not been exploited in the way of Star Trek. They had the one movie which was not up to the TV episode standards and there has been no novels based on Firefly. I think Fox and Weldon have the rights sewed up tightly and they haven’t chosen to license anything to outside parties and they apparently have no plans for any further Firefly in the immediate future

Merry Christmas.
Putting two ten pound birds on the smoker this afternoon. Going to pick up Mom in Edmonds and bring her out to spend the night. French toast for breakfast on my new griddle. Hope your Christmas is full of joy.

Christmas eve is the big day at my house. The tradition is a great dinner at a place I’ve patronized since I was way to young to make a financial decision. The black and white pic shows what it looked like when I was a kid – just a long strip with a bar on one side, tiny booths on the other side, and pornographic polynesian paintings on the walls.

Now it is a large restaurant. Similar decor. By far, still, the best steaks and fillet and prime rib available in Glendale. Wonderful mai tais too.
