The store I got it from had fantastic financing–something like three or four years at no interest. I’ve used that gimmick several places. The trick is you have to get it paid off by that time, or the accumulated interest plops onto the account after the time limit.

Would be nice to get some dole help.

I would bet that a buckwheat mattress (might be too noisy) or an air bead (Sobakawa) mattress would be dynamite.

I am somewhat intimidated by metal appliances. Jody, you would have to tie me up and give me strict instructions.

It’s great. We also coughed up for motorized head and foot adjustability (like a hospital bed) so she could sleep in one position all night comfortably. Her back is better now, but she wouldn’t give up the adjustable bed for anything.

Important hint: Buy two twin adjustables and put them side by side. Avoids bed adjustment conflicts. You can still use king-size quilts and top sheets.

As for the rest, some of us are adaptable.

I think I’ll wait for the motorized version.
