"Prometheus" March 18, 2012 11:13 am RobVG

A prequel to Ridley Scott’s Alien series due out June 8.

Looks fantastic in this extended trailer-
Here

Beside a slightly changed egg pod I notice a few ties to “Aliens”.

There is a wireframe CG display of the ship with the beacon that sent Nostromos’s crew to the planet’s surface. In the ship they found a large alien laying in a “chair” with it’s ribs broken outward. This alien is shown alive  in a similar chair in Prometheus.

They also show Charlize Theron in the same underwear Sigourney Weaver wore in the escape ship in the final scenes of Alien. Funny what surfaces from the formative years of your teens.

Anyone else see ties to “Alien”?
