I said the Democrats are likely to exploit this incident to continue the attempt to distract the electorate from their record on serious issues.

OK. Arpaio and some Tea Party folks want to examine Obama’s birth certificate and YOU see a Democratic plot.

Doesn’t that worry the people around you? Doesn’t anyone care? It worries me. I’m serious, TB, that’s not right. Maybe you’re hearing it here first.

Or maybe there is some connection, some rationale, that will make it work. I don’t see it, but maybe it’s there.

There are medications for this sort of delusion, they tend to work well.

This issue was beaten to death and discarded long ago. Nobody cares.

Democrats will pretend this is a central issue for Republicans (again ignoring all the real issues), and the disdain will be the news story, not the certificate. Read the news story and see what the Democrats are already doing with this.
