I understand the melancholy, I feel it myself. But the shuttles represent an era that *had* to end. And of course an end for one is a beginning for another yadda yadda yadda. It's not like we're never "going to the beach" again. We're just can't take the old Chevy anymore. So we'll get rides out there for now, til we can get our own wheels again. And we'll probably get a sub-compact--maybe even more than one--instead of a big old battleship again. Meh, could be worse. That’s a mixed bag. I understand the melancholy, I feel it myself.
