It was an EF2 tornado. I heard on the news today that some of them are feeling left out because so much has been focused on Joplin and so they aren't getting the support there to rebuild. I can empathize but Sedalia will find it easier to rebuild. What was destroyed in Joplin was horrendous. So many lives lost, people still missing, homes and livelihoods gone. There is a map of tracks <a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/41/May_6_Tornado_Path.jpg" rel="nofollow">here.</a> If you look at the upper right, you can see tiny labels for "Fridley" and "Mounds View." My house was just below the arrow of the Fridley label. We were passed on both sides. Devastation a ten-minute walk in either direction, and all our house lost was a picture window in the living room.
